David Jones is one of Australia's oldest and most iconic department store chains. Founded by David Jones, a Welsh merchant in Sydney in 1838. In the late 19th century, the store moved to its famous location on Elizabeth Street, Sydney, where it still stands today. They operate more than 40 stores today. It has grown to offer an extensive range of fashion, beauty, home, and lifestyle products from both Australian and international brands. It was in 2012 that it first had its online store and in 2014, David Jones was acquired by Woolworths Holdings Limited.
